I'm halfway through my one week vacation, and nowhere near half way through the work to get the patio done. There were so many layers of 'stuff' applied to this deck that tearing it all out is taking forever. On the top is a torched on rubber membrane. Below that is asphalt roll roofing, and below that, half rotten 3/4" OSB decking. The OSB is so heavy and difficult to work with that I have to cut it into small chunks and rip each scrap off of the deck. I have about half of the deck ripped off so far.
And what's worse, bad weather is on the way.
